ProBlock™ Gold Bacterial Protease Inhibitor Cocktail [100X]
Catalog ID | Size | Pricing | |

GB-330-1 | 1 mL | $ 85.00 | |
GB-330-5 | 5 mL | $ 295.00 |
Description
ProBlock™ Gold Bacterial Protease Inhibitor Cocktail contains optimized concentrations of various bacterial protease inhibitors, which provide excellent inhibition of protease activities during protein purification from bacteria. The cocktail contains both reversible and irreversible protease inhibitors to inhibit serine and cysteine proteases. It also contains specific inhibitors for bacterial proteases, such as aspartic proteases and aminopeptidases. A 1X concentration of ProBlock™ Gold Bacterial inhibits over 90% of protease activities.
Some proteins require divalent cations (Ca2+, Mg2+ or Mn2+) for their biological activity and the presence of chelating agents may be detrimental to the protein’s activity. Chelators, such as EDTA, inhibit the purification of proteins by immobilized metal affinity chromatography.
ProBlock™ Gold Bacterial is supplied with additional, optional EDTA and 1,10-Phenanthroline monohydrate which are provided for optimal inhibition of metalloproteases and may be added in the extraction buffer or lysate as needed.

P-454-5 | 5 mL | $ 325.00 |
Description
Protein L Magnetic Agarose Beads are designed to provide the easiest
and simplest method of monoclonal and polyclonal antibody purification and immunoprecipitation.
The antibodies are retained to the magnetic resin which are also
covalently conjugated with recombinant Protein L. Magnetic agarose
beads provide a convenient and quick method for purifications of IgG, IgM, IgA, and IgD containing kappa light chains
from various species without interfering with the antigen binding site.
Protein L Magnetic Beads are supplied as a 50% suspension of magnetic beads in 20% ethanol (Each 1000 μl of suspension contains 500 μl of magnetic beads.)
Binding Capacity: ~10 mg human IgG / ml resin.

Description
Xylenol Blue is a useful alternative to thymol blue developed in the 1920s. Xylenol Blue can be used at half the concentration that thymol blue requires. It is functional at the same two pH ranges, acidic (pH 1-3), which transitions from red to yellow, and basic (pH 8-10), which transitions from yellow to blue. Xylenol Blue may be substituted for any experiment that requires thymol blue.
