Description
Recombinant Human PTH (1-84) contains the complete 84 amino acid sequence of mature human parathyroid hormone. PTH regulates calcium and phosphate homeostasis through receptor-mediated signaling in tissues including bone and kidney and contributes to the control of osteoblast activity, bone remodeling, and mineral metabolism.
As the full-length form of PTH, this recombinant protein is particularly useful for studies requiring the complete native hormone sequence rather than a shorter N-terminal fragment. It can be used to investigate PTH1R signaling, cAMP production, osteoblast responses, calcium regulation, and differences between intact PTH and truncated PTH peptides.
