CXCL10, Human

Description

GoldBio growth factors are manufactured for RESEARCH USE ONLY and cannot be sold for human consumption!

Recombinant Human Chemokine (C-X-C motif) Ligand 10 (CXCL10)
Cytokine Responsive Gene 2 (CRG2)
Small Inducible Cytokine Subfamily B Member 10 (SCYB10)
Interferon Gamma Inducible Protein 10, (IP10, INP10)

CXCL10 is a CXC chemokine lacking the ELR motif. It is expressed in and secreted by monocytes, endothelial cells, fibroblasts, and other cell types after induction by IFN-gamma. It is chemotactic for monocytes and T-cell lymphocytes. CXCL10 plays a role in angiostasis, inhibits bone marrow colony formation, and promotes T-cell adhesion to endothelial cells. Increased expression of CXCL10 and CXCR3 is also associated with autoimmune myasthenia gravis. CXCL10 also exhibits antimicrobial properties against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is closely related to CXCL9 and CXCL11, all three of which are ligands for CXCLR3.

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized powder. Purified and tested for use in cell culture.

Source: Escherichia coli

MW: ~8.6 kDa (77 amino acids)

Purity: >97% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses

Biological Activity: Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human peripheral blood T-lymphocytes is in a concentration range of 10-50 ng/ml.

Storage/Handling: Store desiccated at -20°C.
