Recombinant Human Chemokine (C-X-C motif) Ligand 3
Melanoma Growth Stimulating Activity, Gamma (MGSG, MGSA-g)
Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 2 (MIP2-beta)
Growth Related Oncogene 3 (GRO3, GRO-gamma)
Cytokine Induced Neutrophil Chemoattractant 2, Beta (CINC2-beta)
Small Inducible Cytokine Subfamily B Member 3 (SCYB3)

CXCL3 is an ELR type of CXC chemokine. It is secreted by monocytes and macrophages and expressed in a variety of other cells. CXCL3 participates in chemotaxis and cell activation of neutrophils. CXCL3 is a ligand for CXCR2. It plays a role in would healing, inflammation, angiogenesis, tumorigenesis, metastasis, and pathogenesis of airway remodeling in asthma. CXCL3 has an effect on the differentiation and function of human monocyte-derived dendritic cells, pushing them towards a myeloid-derived suppressor cell (MDSC)-like phenotype. CXCL3 exhibits antimicrobial activity against E. coli and S. aureus.

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized powder. Purified and tested for use in cell culture.

Source: Escherichia coli

MW: ~7.9 kDa (73 amino acids)

Purity: >97% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses

Biological Activity: Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human CXCR2 transfected human 293 cells is in a concentration range of 10-100 ng/ml.

Storage/Handling: Store desiccated at -20°C.
