Recombinant Murine Chemokine [C-X-C motif] Ligand 9 (CXCL9)
Monokine Induced by Gamma-Interferon (MIG)
Cytokine Responsive Gene 10 (CRG10)
Small Inducible Cytokine Subfamily B Member 9 (SCYB9)
Mumig

Murine CXCL9 is a CXC chemokine lacking the ELR motif. It is expressed in and secreted by macrophages, epithelial cells, and other cell types after induction by IFNG. It is chemotactic for stimulated T lymphocytes and plays a role in angiostasis, inhibition of neovascularization, inhibition of hematopoietic progenitor cells, and T-cell activation. CXCL9 is most closely related to CXCL10 and CXCL11, all three of which are ligands for CXCLR3. CXCL9 exhibits antimicrobial activity and even after degradation by speB from S. pyogenes, it retains such activity.

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized powder. Purified and tested for use in cell culture.

Source: Escherichia coli

MW: ~12.2 kDa (105 amino acids)

Purity: >95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses

Biological Activity: Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human lymphocytes is in a concentration range of 0.1-10 ng/ml.

Storage/Handling: Store desiccated at -20°C.

MGD: 1352449

NOT FOR HUMAN USE!
