Description
 Macerozyme R-10 is a macerating enzyme from the Rhizopus sp. which is perfectly suited for the isolation of plant cells.  Macerozyme R-10 is often used in combination with Cellulase "Onozuka R-10" in the isolation of plant protoplasts. 
  Macerozyme R-10 is a multi-component enzyme mixture containing the following characteristics: 
  Enzyme activity: >3,000 U/g 
 Pectinase : 0.5 U/mg 
 Cellulase: 0.1 U/mg 
 Hemicellulase: 0.25 U/mg 
 Loss on drying: <10% 
 solubility: 1 mg/ml 0.1M Sodium acetate buffer pH 4.5 
 store at 2-8°C 
 pH optimum: 3.5-7.0
