NRG1-beta1 (177-241 a.a.), Human

Description

Recombinant Human NRG1-beta1 (177-241 a.a.) contains the EGF-like domain of neuregulin 1 beta1, a signaling protein involved in the growth, differentiation, and development of multiple cell types. This biologically active region interacts with ErbB3 and ErbB4 receptor tyrosine kinases, promoting receptor dimerization with ErbB2 and activation of downstream signaling.

The defined 177-241 amino acid region makes this NRG1-beta1 protein particularly useful for research focused on ErbB receptor activation and the biological activity of the NRG1 EGF-like domain.

It can be used to study neuronal and glial cell biology, cell proliferation and differentiation, receptor signaling, synaptic biology, and other processes regulated by NRG1-ErbB interactions.
