Description
Recombinant Human NRG1-beta2 is a neuregulin 1 isoform that contains an EGF-like signaling domain capable of activating ErbB3 and ErbB4 receptor tyrosine kinases. Through these receptor interactions and subsequent association with ErbB2, NRG1-beta2 can stimulate intracellular pathways involved in cell growth, survival, differentiation, and development.
As the beta2 form of NRG1, this recombinant protein provides you with a distinct neuregulin ligand for investigating isoform-specific activity and ErbB-mediated signaling. NRG1-beta2 is useful for studies involving epithelial, neuronal, and glial cell responses, growth factor signaling, receptor activation, and comparisons of neuregulin isoform activity.
