Description
Recombinant Human PTH (7-34) is a truncated parathyroid hormone fragment lacking the first six amino acids of the active N-terminus. Unlike PTH (1-34), PTH (7-34) can bind PTH1R without producing the same level of receptor activation, making it useful as a PTH1R antagonist in experimental systems.
This 28 amino acid fragment provides you with a tool for investigating PTH receptor binding, antagonism, cAMP signaling, and the biological consequences of inhibiting PTH1R activation. It can also support studies comparing active and inhibitory PTH fragments in bone, epithelial, and other PTH-responsive cell models.
