The Timentin™ EZ Pak™ is the fastest and easiest way to make a standardized amount of sterile Timentin™ solution. There is no need for manual weighing or calculations. Simply add the stated amount of deionized H2O, filter, and pour into the labeled bottle for easy usage.
The kit includes pre weighed Timentin™ powder, a sterile filter, and a sterile container for the filtered solution, allowing you to quickly prepare a sterile, accurately concentrated antibiotic solution with minimal handling.
The EZ Pak™ format ensures consistent 100 mg/mL stock preparation, reduced variability, and built-in sterility, which is ideal for plant transformation labs, shared facilities, and applications requiring reliable post-transformation bacterial suppression.
The 50 ml and 100 ml packs include a vacuum manifold for easy vacuum filtering while 10 ml pack size comes with syringe filter.

Timentin® combines the extended-spectrum β-lactam antibiotic ticarcillin with clavulanic acid, a β-lactamase inhibitor. This combination enhances antibacterial activity by preventing enzymatic degradation of ticarcillin. In research settings, Timentin® is widely used in plant molecular biology to eliminate Agrobacterium tumefaciens following transformation while minimizing damage to plant tissues. It is often preferred over single-agent β-lactams because of its improved stability and effectiveness against β-lactamase-producing strains.
