Description
Dual Luciferase Passive Lysis Buffer is a 1X cell lysis buffer that is designed for use with our Illumination™ Firefly & Renilla Luciferase Enhanced Assay Kit. Those kits are supplied with sufficient lysis buffer to perform the stated number of assays with cells grown in 96 – 24 well plates. Dual Luciferase Passive Lysis Buffer is sold separately for use with the kits when more lysis buffer (e.g. >100 uL/well) is required.
This buffer can also be used to dilute recombinant firefly or Renilla luciferase enzymes without the need to add BSA to stabilize the enzymes.
Storage/Handing: Store at -20°C.
Product may be shipped at ambient temperature without reducing performance. Please place at the recommended storage conditions upon receipt of the product.
Note: If additional lysis buffer is required for the Illumination™ Firefly Luciferase Enhanced Assay Kit (I-930) or the Illumination™ Lyophilized Firefly Luciferase Enhanced Assay Kit (I-935), purchase 5X Luciferase Lysis Buffer (GoldBio Catalog # L-740). If additional lysis buffer is required for Illumination™ Renilla Luciferase Enhanced Assay Kit (I-925), purchase 5X Passive Lysis Buffer (GoldBio Catalog # L-745).
