D-Penicillamine is a copper chelating agent that also functions as a disease modifying, anti-rheumatic immunosuppressant.

pSuperAgro® v1 was designed to include AcdS activity, driven by the lac promoter, which suppresses ethylene evolution during co-cultivation and significantly increases T-DNA transfer.

AcdS activity is beneficial for higher callus induction frequency and also suppresses callus browning phenomena. This plasmid has been shown to be efficacious in both Hardy Pampas Grass ( E. Ravennae) and Tomato plants (S. Lycopersicum).

pSuperAgro™ v1tet has been modified to provide tetracycline resistance instead of the original pSuperAgro™ V1’s gentamicin resistance. This allows the helper plasmid to be used in conjunction with our other GoldBio Agrobacterium strains, including the widely used GV3101 strain.

Oxytetracycline is a tetracycline antibiotic derived from Streptomyces rimosus. It targets gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and several Mycoplasma species. Oxytetracycline has been used to study its resistance gene, otrA and in fluorescence analysis of liver cells.

Additionally, oxytetracycline is used as a selective agent in OGYE, a selective medium for yeasts and molds. It has been used to prevent fire blight in apples and pears and has been shown to be a better alternative to streptomycin against fire blight disease.

2,5-Dichloropyridine is a reagent used in chemical synthesis. It has been used to synthesize 4-benzodiazepine-2,5 diones as Hdm2 antagonists and inhibitors of ERK protein kinase.

Phenolphthalein disulfate is used in a broth as a substrate for arylsulfatase. This broth is a medium used to differentiate pathogenic mycobacteria based on their arylsulfatase production ability, those that produce arylsulfatase release phenolphthalein and, with the addition of an alkali, will turn the solution pink. The desulfuration of phenolphthalein disulfate was also used to isolate and identify intestinal bacteria.

Semicarbazide HCl is a reagent used to produce aldehyde and ketone derivatives. These derivatives are crystalline compounds with specific melting points. Semicarbazide HCl is a nitrofuran metabolite.

This matrix is a highly cross-linked 4% agarose bead with a bead size of 50-150 µm. It is a gel filtration resin developed for industrial-scale separation of large molecules and virus particles utilizing higher pressure and flow rates rather than low pressure standard beads.

This matrix is not preactivated. For preactivated resins, look for Glyoxal Agarose Beads or Protein G.

Phosphoric ac, mono(4-nitrophenyl) ester is a chromogenic substrate used with ELISA and spectrophotometric assays for acid and alkaline phosphatase.
