product description
Mix-n-Stain™ CF®770 Antibody Labeling Kit is a near-infrared fluorescent dye that is the brightest fluorescent dye available in its spectrum. Antibody conjugates prepared from CF®770 have by far the best signal-to-noise ratio than antibody conjugates prepared from other spectrally similar dyes.
Mix-n-Stain™ antibody labeling kits are a revolutionary antibody labeling technology that allows you to label your primary antibody with biotin or one of our superior CF® dyes in 30 minutes without the need for a purification step. The labeling procedure tolerates many common buffer components and antibody stabilizers. CF® dyes are highly water soluble, small organic dyes designed for labeling proteins and nucleic acids. Many of our CF® dyes are brighter and more photostable than competing dyes. Click the link for a complete list of more than 20 GoldBio CF® antibody labeling kits.

MOPS is a buffering agent used in biochemistry and molecular biology that was selected and described by Good et al. It is a zwitterionic, morpholinic buffer that is useful for a pH range of 6.5 – 7.9 and commonly used for cell culture media, as a running buffer in electrophoresis, and for protein purification in chromatography. MOPS lacks the ability to form a complex with most metal ions and is recommended for use as a non-coordinating buffer in solutions with metal ions.

It is a zwitterionic, morpholinic buffer that is useful for a pH range of 6.5 – 7.9 and commonly used for cell culture media, as a running buffer in electrophoresis and for protein purification in chromatography. MOPS lacks the ability to form a complex with most metal ions and is recommended for use as a non-coordinating buffer in solutions with metal ions. MOPS is often used in buffered culture media for bacteria, yeast, and mammalian cells. MOPS is regarded as an excellent buffer for use in separating RNA in agarose gels. It is recommended to sterilize MOPS buffers by filtration rather than with autoclave due to the unknown identity of yellow degradation products that occur after sterilization of MOPS with autoclave. It is suitable for use in the bicinchoninic acid (BCA) assay.
MOPS sodium salt can be mixed with MOPS free acid to attain desired pH. Alternatively, MOPS free acid can be titrated with sodium hydroxide to attain desired pH.

product description
MOPSO is a buffering agent used in biochemistry and molecular biology that was selected and described by Good et al. It is a zwitterionic, morpholinic buffer, structurally similar to MOPS, that is useful for a pH range of 6.2 – 7.6. It is commonly used for cell culture media, as a running buffer in electrophoresis, and for protein purification with chromatography. Due to low ionic mobility, MOPSO is regarded as an excellent buffer for use in capillary electrochromatography. MOPSO lacks the ability to form a complex with most metal ions and is recommended for use as a non-coordinating buffer in solutions with metal ions. It does form a complex with some organotin(IV) molecules that are being explored as antitumor agents. MOPSO also interacts with the peptide backbone of bovine serum albumin (BSA) to stabilize BSA against thermal denaturation.

product description
4-Methylumbelliferyl beta-D-glucuronide (MUG) is a fluorogenic substrate for beta-glucuronidase (GUS). Upon cleavage, MUG yields blue fluorescence seen under UV light.
This substrate is commonly used for the detection of Escherichia coli through its ability to detect activity of beta-glucuronidase, which is encoded by uidA. GUS activity is tested in minimal medium o-nitrophenyl-beta-D-galactopyranoside (MMO)-MUG.
It is ideal for plant molecular study as a way to examine gene expression under various promoters. And while it works well for measuring activity in plant lysate and leaf disks, it can also work in whole plant assays.
