Agarose resins possess physical characteristics which make them a cornerstone in the analytical field due to their ability to separate and purify molecules depending on the application. These resins can be used to manipulate proteins and amino acid binding to suit desirable outcomes. In His-Tag and size-exclusion chromatography, resins are used to help isolate specific proteins from undesirable ones for further applications. GST chromatography resins can be used to bind together DNA coding sequences. Protein A & G resins are also help bind immunoglobulins. For industrial scale applications, high-throughput chromatography resin allows for high flow rates without compromising binding capacity. GoldBio provides these high-quality chromatography products and the necessary equipment to design and perform separations for a low cost.

These enzymes are linked either to 4% or 6% agarose beads, which makes them easier to recycle and use again, if desired. With immobilized enzymes, the enzymatic rate of the reaction can be adjusted simply by changing the flow through rate and the amount of undesired protein loss through dissolving is also reduced. GoldBio additionally offers a wide variety of affinity purification agarose resins for the downstream applications of your digested products...everything you need for your experiment, at the prices you know are best!

Immobilized Trypsin Agarose Resin
Product Description
Trypsin is a serine protease that hydrolyses proteins which can be found in the digestive system. Trypsin cleaves peptide bonds on the carboxy side of s-aminoethyl cysteine, arginine and lysine residues with very little or no cleavage at lysyl-proline and arginyl-proline bonds. This special cleaving activity yields peptides that are easily identified by mass spectrometry. Additionally, our Immobilized Trypsin is TPCK treated to deactivate interfering chymotrypsin, which can interfere with sequence analysis.
Immobilized Trypsin Agarose Resin is trypsin immobilized on agarose, allowing for the cleaving of peptide bonds without the trypsin contamination in your final products. This allows for the cleaving of peptide bonds of cysteine, arginine and lysine residues and yield fragments identifiable in mass spectrometry.
Immobilized Trypsin is supplied as a 50% slurry containing glycerol and sodium azide as a preservative.
