Description
gamma-Cyclodextrin is 8 linked D-glucopyranose units. Its unique functional characteristics make it useful for filtering out cholesterol molecules, which get trapped in the cyclodextrin rings. For delivery of compounds cyclodextrin has a hydrophilic outside and hydrophobic inside, helping form complexes that help increase solubility and bioavailability of compounds. They can also be used to help form molecules with mechanically-interlocked molecular structures by reacting the terminal ends of the molecule.

Description
Biomolecules can be immobilized by binding them to a support under conditions that will then determine the characteristics of the complex. Immobilization is a technique that binds a ligand (enzyme, antibody, affinity proteins like Protein A or Protein G) to a support, giving high stability and making it easier to reuse the immobilized molecule.
Glyoxal beads allow a covalent binding of agarose to lysine amino groups (similar orientation to CNBr). Glyoxal agarose beads are ready to use and require no activation. The resin has a high amount of aldehydes groups (40-60 µmoles Glyoxal / ml gel) providing a very good option to conjugate affinity ligands improving the stability of the ligand.
The choice of Glyoxal or Aminoethyl will depend on the biomolecule to be immobilized, the accessibility of the reactive groups, and the direction/ orientation required for the binding to the support.

Description
GoldBio’s GV3101 Agrobacterium chemically competent cells are a powerful tool for high efficiency transformation of plants. The GV3101 strain is optimized for cDNA and gDNA library construction, and possesses resistance to rifampicin, gentamicin, and tetracycline. The T-DNA region of the GV3101 Ti plasmid has been deleted, but restoration of the binary vector T-region can fully enable T-DNA binary system function.
The presence of the pSoup helper plasmid is required for the replication of pGreen, 62SK, and pGs2 series plasmids, and also helps with Agrobacterium-mediated transformation of dicotyledonous plants like Arabidopsis thaliana, tobacco, and potato, as well as monocotyledonous plants such as corn.

Description
GoldBio’s GV3101 competent Agrobacterium cells are a highly efficient tool for genetic transformation of dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous plant species, such as Arabidopsis thaliana, tobacco, potato, and corn. These cells carry the nopaline-type Ti plasmid pMP90 (pTiC58DT-DNA) that contains the vir genes required for the transfer and integration of T-DNA into the plant genome. Additionally, the cells are resistant to rifampicin, gentamicin, and tetracycline, which allows for selection of transformed cells.
The pSoup plasmid carried by the cells is required for the replication of pGreen, 62SK, and pGs2 series plasmids. The p19 protein is derived from tomato bush dwarf virus and further improves the stability of heterologous gene transcripts by inhibiting RNA silencing of foreign genes. These combined properties make GV3101 competent Agrobacterium cells an ideal choice for cDNA or gDNA library construction and the generation of transgenic plants with desirable traits.

Description
GoldBio’s GV3101 Agrobacterium chemically competent cells allow you to obtain high transformation efficiency in applications such as gDNA or cDNA library construction. Our GV3101 strain harbors the C58 chromosomal backbone containing rifampicin resistance and the Ti plasmid pMP90 (pTiC58DT-DNA) harboring the gentamicin resistance. A functional T-DNA binary system can be built using our GV3101 strains as the T-DNA region has been deleted in the Ti plasmid and instead has a binary vector containing the missing T-region. The binary system makes possible to transfer genetic material into a host plant’s genome. Our system is often used for Agrobacterium-mediated transformation in mono and dicotyledonous species such as Arabidopsis thaliana, tobacco, potato, soybeans and corn.

Description
Interferon gamma is the only type II interferon and binds to the heterodimeric IFNGR that consists of two chains, IFNGR1 and IFNGR2. This interaction activates the JAK-STAT pathway. IFNG is produced primarily by T-lymphocytes and natural killer (NK) cells. It is critical for innate and adaptive immunity against viral and intracellular bacterial infections. This is due partly to its ability to inhibit viral replication directly, but also due to its immunostimulatory and immunomodulatory effects. IFNG induces the production of cytokines and upregulates the expression of class I and II MHC antigens, Fc receptors, and leukocyte adhesion molecules. It modulates macrophage effector functions, influences isotype switching, and potentiates the secretion of immunoglobulins by B cells. Additionally, IFNG augments TH1 cell expansion and may be required for TH1 cell differentiation.

Description
Interleukin-3 (IL3) is a hematopoietic growth factor that promotes the survival, differentiation and proliferation of committed progenitor cells of the megakaryocyte, granulocyte-macrophage, erythroid, eosinophil, basophil and mast cell lineages. Produced by T-cells, mast cells and eosinophils, IL3 enhances thrombopoieses, phagocytosis and antibody-mediated cellular cytotoxicity. Its ability to activate monocytes suggests that IL3 may have additional immunoregulatory roles. Many of the IL3 activities depend upon co-stimulation with other cytokines. IL3 is species-specific, variably glycosylated cytokine.

IL8, Canine
Catalog ID | Size | Pricing | |

1410-08-5 | 5 μg | $ 115.00 |
Description
Interleukin 8 (IL8) is encoded by the IL8 gene and produced by macrophages and other cell types such as epithelial cells. IL8 is also synthesized by endothelial cells, and then stored in vesicles. There are many receptors capable of binding to IL8; however, the receptors that have the greatest affinity are CXCR1 and CXCR2. As a member of the CXC chemokine family, IL8 is a player in the induction of chemotaxis in its target cells, like neutrophil granulocytes, basophils and T-cells. IL8 is often associated with inflammation and has been cited as a pro-inflammatory mediator in gingivitis and psoriasis.

KITLG (SCF), Canine
Catalog ID | Size | Pricing | |
---|---|---|---|
1420-01-10 | 10 μg | $ 165.00 |
Description
KIT Ligand (KITLG), also called Stem Cell Factor (SCF) which binds to the c-Kit receptor is produced by fibroblasts and endothelial cells. The soluble and transmembrane forms of the protein are formed by alternative splicing of the same RNA transcript and the presence of both soluble and transmembrane SCF is required for normal hematopoietic function. SCF plays an important role in hematopoiesis, spermatogenesis and melanogenesis and it promotes mast cell adhesion, migration, proliferation, and survival. Soluble canine SCF shares 76-93% amino acid sequence identity with many other species, including human, mouse, rat and equine. Cells known to express SCF include endothelial cells, fibroblasts and keratinocytes.
